WhatsApp phone numbers and business profiles
Plan number ownership, verification, migration, business-profile review, replacement, and disconnection without disrupting an active service.
The organization, not Balaawi, obtains, controls, verifies, and pays for its business number. Use a durable number that the organization can recover and govern even when staff or service providers change.
Choose and verify the number
Use international format and confirm who controls SMS or voice verification. Record the accountable owner and a recovery process. Avoid personal numbers and temporary numbers for an operational channel. Meta does not normally provide the underlying phone number.
Review an existing number
Determine whether the number is already registered in the WhatsApp Business app, attached to another WhatsApp Business Account, or managed by another provider. A supported migration or coexistence path may be required. Do not detach an active number until the impact and rollback are approved.
Maintain the business profile
Review the public display name, logo, category, description, email, website, and address. Meta controls display-name review and may leave a name pending or reject it. Use the legal or publicly recognized organization identity and keep related business information consistent.
Replace or disconnect safely
Replacing the number or Meta account requires fresh authorization and a new acceptance test. A disconnect decision must identify what happens to new inbound traffic, outbound sends, queued work, automations, retained history, support ownership, and recovery. Retention follows the tenant's approved policy and applicable obligations.

No. The organization obtains and controls the number and must retain access to its verification and recovery methods.
Will customers see Balaawi's name?
Customers should see the approved display name and number of the connected organization.
Why is a display name pending?
Meta controls review. Check that the name accurately represents the business and that the related profile details are consistent.
What happens when a number is disconnected?
New inbound handling, outbound sends, queued messages, and automations must stop. Retained history remains subject to the tenant's retention policy.
